Absentee votes swamp Circuit Clerk Office

Circuit Clerk Julie Poe works on absentee votes. Poe reported there were a record number of absentee votes this year within Clay County. As of Monday, November 2, that number had climbed to 586.

As of November 3, the Alabama Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 785 positive covid cases to date in Clay County. This figure includes 683 confirmed cases and 102 probable.
