Man dies in single vehicle accident



A single-vehicle crash at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, claimed the life of a Lineville man. Clay County Cleanup Makes a Difference



Several People turned out to help with the cleanup effort on Saturday June 10th. The group picked up trash along Highway 31 including tires and many other items along the roadway. The group plans to hold another event in the near future.

Arts Camp 2017



Over 250 kids enjoyed this year’s Arts Camp in Ashland. The children had the opportunity to craft, sing, and act among other fun activities. Many of the children were able to attend the camp at no cost to the families.

Stringfellow passes at 105



Morine Stringfellow passed away Wednesday June 7th at the age of 105. She was featured as the Mother of the Year in the Clay Times Journal last year.
